DESIGN The Noble Home design is the ultimate blend of form and function. The basic structure is designed for ease of construction which demands structural integrity and honesty unlike many contemporary buildings. A Noble Home can be designed and sited to be a natural part of the environment which is often not the case with modular or manufactured housing. Each Noble Home is custom designed to meet your requirements and building site. The design can meet the demands of any climate and can be sited to maximize solar heating and cooling - whether it's the desert southwest or the Green Mountains in Vermont. Noble Home is now refining a solar heating system utilizing the earth as a thermal mass to be used in appropriate single level designs. The roof system will collect enough summertime heat to be ducted into the ground around and underneath the house. During the winter months, this heat will radiate back inside while the house also collects winter passive solar heat. This idea, known as Passive Annual Heat Storage (PAHS) has been successfully used on a handful, but not enough, houses since 1981. Noble Home is currently looking for customers willing to try out this system with material costs paid by Noble Home. In return, the customer will have a life of very low to no heating bills! 
These are just a few ways a Noble Home can meet different spatial and environmental requirements:
~Noble Homes can be single story passive solar houses built on a concrete slab and can be earth bermed.
~Noble Homes can be 2 story houses, with the first floor bermed into a hillside for additional energy efficiency and sense of repose.
~Noble Homes can be designed with alternative energy systems to create a low or zero energy house depending on the climate.
